We’ll explore a small part of the cuisine this region has to offer.

Download all the information you’ll need for the class including the pre-class prep list included in the agenda and the recipes. It is ideal that you print those out. Pre-prep is key as we have an amazing couple of items but it does depend on how much is done before hand. Plan for about 20-30 mins of prep and make sure you get pickled the night before…er…do your pickling/brining the night before. It’s super easy. And if you want to add Potato Galette to your dinner, you can make it the night before and bake it during class.

Your “Little Something Extra” Recipe!

We won’t be making this in class but it is something you could make ahead of time to accompany your meal. We can tell you when to pop it into the oven during class!

French 75

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce gin

  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed

  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup

  • 3 ounces Champagne (or other sparkling wine)

  • Garnish: lemon twist

Directions:

  1. Add the gin, lemon juice and simple syrup to a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.

  2. Strain into a Champagne flute.

  3. Top with the Champagne or sparkling wine of choice.

  4. Garnish with a lemon twist.
